It has always been one of my dreams to jump away in a trampoline park, but there just isn't any of such parks back home in Spain where I live. So when I came over to Singapore, Katapult was pretty much a dream come true. Thanks to Crunch SG, we got to enjoy an hour of jump session and here's a short post on how it went! For Allison, she's never jumped on a trampoline before so she was kind of nervous about the whole thing but Katapult really places a lot of emphasis on safety first. So if you are a first timer, don't worry as you will be well taken care of at Katapult. We had a trained marshal with us the whole time, giving us clear instructions on how to do the various jump techniques / tricks, as well as correcting our mistakes. Now, if you think that jumping on a trampoline is easy, think twice. It may look easy (especially when our jump marshal does all those fancy tricks elegantly), but when it's our turn... it can be quite an epic fail.
The highlight of the jump session? Me successfully doing a back flip! (Allison kinda gave up halfway...) Trampoline jumping is actually a really fun workout which burns a significant number of calories. Best part? You don't even feel like it's a workout, because you are having too much fun jumping and falling and laughing. It's low impact - which means that it's great for all ages! During our jump session, there were a couple of kids happily jumping away too and sweating buckets like us! So if you haven't already been to Katapult, why not give it a try? It will definitely be an experience!
